FRESHMAN SEASON: Orientation

For our Freshman Season we are introducing the Orientation Collection. Assistherhood's premier drop featuring five essential home (white) and away (black) pieces adorned with the assistherhood lockup along with the OX logo. From the cozy hoodie to the crew, t-shirt, shorts and hat. Each piece in the collection was curated with precision and style to empower the collective. Our mantra encapsulates our ethos of reciprocity and progress in women's basketball. It emphasizes both the importance of teamwork and selflessness on the court, as well as our commitment to giving back to the community and pushing forward towards greater achievements. Our three main focuses are culture, coaching and conversation.

Culture

Culture on a basketball team encompasses not only shared values and behaviors but also the team's relationship with its gear and attire. It dictates the pride, unity, and identity players feel when donning their team's colors and logos, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment. Through cohesive branding and high-quality gear, teams can continue to strengthen their culture, inspire confidence, and elevate their performance on the court.

Introducing the new Assistherhood Academy, dedicated to empowering young female athletes at the elementary, junior high, high school and collegiate levels. Our goal is to provide comprehensive basketball training and mentorship, fostering skills development, confidence, and teamwork in a supportive environment. Our inaugural session is Oct. 6th!

Launching Oct. 14th, the Assistherhood podcast offers a platform for sharing stories, insights, and experiences from female basketball players and supporters. It provides an opportunity to delve deeper into topics such as empowerment, teamwork, and overcoming challenges, fostering a sense of community and inspiration within Assistherhood. Through meaningful conversations and discussions, the podcast aims to amplify the voices of the folks within women's basketball and celebrate their achievements both on and off the court.
