Number 11

Number 11

I asked my team to write to you because I know they have been going through some adversity.  Our reality is we have won 1 game in two years in a summer league we host.  Two years ago JV did not win a game.  Last year we were 5-13 and we are losing 95% of our scoring.  Many tears and many embarrassing moments.  Now what?  I think that is where you may be wondering.  Those answers will come from within however on the outside we are all here for you.  All 12 of us.  11 of them.

Hey, I know things might feel heavy right now, and maybe it seems easier to walk away but don’t give up on basketball. You have something special, something not everyone has: heart, grit, and the kind of fire that can’t be taught. Every great player has moments where they question if it’s worth it. I have it all the time but it’s the ones who push through that pain who grow into something unshakable. I can tell youve come far, and there’s still so much waiting for you on the other side of this. Trust your love for the game, trust the work you’ve put in, and remember why you started. You’re not alone in this keep fighting! Much love from ari h!!

i know i don’t know who u are but i do know what ur going thru. every player has this rough patch where everyhting seems like a waste but u need to remember what kept you playing for so long. it could be ur team, ur coach, all those people count on u to stay in it. give it ur best shot because u have real talent. take some time for urself but dont walk away from basketball just yet.

Hiiii, I know this AAU season must’ve been really tough for you, and quitting probably feels a lot easier right now. But don’t forget why you joined basketball in the first place. You have a skill that takes practice and consistency to grow, and it’s okay to feel frustrated or tired, especially when games feel hard or you don’t see the progress you want. I want you to remember that every practice and every game, even the ones that didn’t go how you wanted, are helping you grow stronger. I believe you are a great player and an amazing teammate, and I don’t want you to let one hard season take that away from you!!!

Hey, I know it might feel tough and like the best option is to quit right now but don’t give up you have put so much work in and you have so much dedication and grit that can’t be coached. Believe in yourself and your talent. You can always lean on people for support. But Keep pushing forward because it will get better soon. You can do this!!

hi, i think that you shouldnt quit basketball even though you be feeling discouraged because you’ve been playing for a while now and you’ve probably put so much into it so instead of quitting maybe you should just take a break from it or tone down a bit from it. I’m assuming you’re a great player and teammate so don’t give up because you’ll get through this!!

hii i just want to say im very proud of u for coming a long way and i may not know you now but i believe u are a great talented player who shouldn’t quit and throw it all away u may started at 9 or 10 and thats why ur harder on urself but thats why u go harder because if you really like basketball u should keep going i heard aau is definitely more challenging and difficult but that makes u into a better player going against difficult teams it trains u so u can be ready for the next and ur not alone because u have ur teammates with u to help and to support u there was definitely a lot of times i wanted to quit but i knew there was people who cared n supported me thru my basketball journey cause they knew i was hard on myself and didn’t believe i could do it but they encouraged me i came far enough to not back out now and i want to become one of the best for me all u need is the hard work and dedication we’re all here to guide u n support u thru urs and we believe u can do it because sometimes we all have similarities thru eachother and everyone can help come tg

Hai even tho we  don’t know you, but we heard you’ve been going through a tough time with hoops lately. Just wanted to say you’re not alone. A lot of us have had seasons where nothing felt right, where it felt easier to just walk away. But the fact that you’ve made it this far already says a lot about who you are. You’re more than just a number on a jersey. You’ve got a story, a fight, and a reason you started playing in the first place. Don’t let one chapter make you forget how far you’ve come or how much more you’ve got ahead of you. Even if we’ve never met, we’re rooting for you. Keep your head up and keep pushing you’ve got more in you than you think.

Hey #11, I just wanted to remind you that you are so much more than just a number on a jersey. You’ve been playing since the 4th grade for a reason, because you love the game and because you belong on that court. AAU can be tough, and sometimes it makes you question your worth, but don’t let a hard season define you. We’ve all struggled, even the best players do, but the ones who keep going are the ones who grow the most.

You have talent, you have heart, and most importantly, you have a whole community that believes in you, even when you don’t believe in yourself. Don’t give up now. You’ve come too far, and there’s so much more ahead for you.

Hey I know AAU this season felt rough for you however you cannot let one summer season affect you as a player you have been playing this sport for so long that you know when times are tough you have to fight in order to be able to move on please really think about what you want to do with yourself and the game and remember you have the people to cheer you on every step of the way.

Hello! At the moment it may seem that you have a lot of pressure on you and that there’s too many challenges; which may make you question wether it’s worth it to keep going. However, I can assure you that everything will be okay and that you can do this. You have put in the time and the effort and so much hard work, everyone can appreciate all that you have done for others around you, the sport, and the growth you have endured. Your passion for basketball is not something that you learn but it’s something you develop as a great player. I believe in you, you can get through this one step at a time and become an even stronger player. You have so much more left on your path and so much potential; you got this. Remember the memories you made with basketball and the reason your journey began in the first place; use it to push through and believe in yourself. Remember that there’s always people there for you.
